£40,000 - £50,000 + Package

Our client is a successful management and property consultancy with offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, London, and Newcastle. They are the forefront of innovative, specialist property and construction solutions.


Supporting Strategic Pursuits

  • Review bid documentation, ‘Bid Kick-off’ forms, agree a clear plan and timetable for information responses. Work around the availability of technical teams, where necessary
  • Prepare and develop appropriate responses to quality and technical questions. Source previous bid library responses. Workshop improvements and undertake proofreading.
  • Publish the tender documents before the deadline, to a high standard of design and content
  • Undertake post submission client feedback and bid reviews
  • Monitor tender boxes opportunities and clarifications, coordinate with technical teams, record pursuits on our CRM system

Business Development

  • Support the development and maintenance of sector and company capability documents, in conjunction with the Director and Heads of Division.
  • Support the Director and Heads of Division with the production of materials for internal and external presentations, maintaining corporate branding and imagery in InDesign
  • Support the attainment of company quality certification such as Achilles and Constructionline
  • Maintain a system of up-to-date standard business development information for use by all staff including CV’s, photographs, standard document library and project profiles

Person Specification

Essential Skills/Experience

  • First-class organisation and multi-tasking skills; the ability to manage and prioritise a demanding workload
  • Advanced IT skills with extensive experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experienced in InDesign.
  • Experience in the proof reading, formatting, quality checking and compilation of detailed formal documents and reports
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to use own initiative and work proactively with ease
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • A “can do” attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues
  • Construction industry experience would be an advantage
  • Proven copywriting experience
