Contracts Manager – Social Housing Refurb – Kitchen & Bathrooms


£60,000 + car allowance and full Company Package

Our client, a large Manchester based main contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to look after a number of social housing sites across the North West area including kitchen and bathroom replacement schemes.

The team are a successful one and as such are looking for someone that wants to further enhance the work they do with their teams and clients.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience of managing contracts, (performance management including the ability to assess risk and act as required)
  • Experience of operating within and promoting a performance management culture
  • Understanding of budgets and basic financial management
  • Good knowledge of housing management, particularly in te social housing context
  • Working knowledge of the responsibilities of a Registered Provider and the regulatory environment for Registered Providers
  • Experience of translating strategic objectives into viable operational plans
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Good people and communications skills
  • Demonstrate a positive disposition towards change, viewing it as an opportunity to improve services, performance and efficiency
  • Self-motivated and ability to operate with minimal guidance
  • Empathic towards residents’ concerns, needs and expectations
