Development Manager – Affordable Housing – Part time or full time

Salary - £40-60k (negotiable)

Based – East Manchester

As the Development Manager for a large housing contractor working in partnership with established client housing associations you will play a key part in delivering the housing targets for this successful team.

This business has successfully delivered year on year and only due to success are they looking for this role. This is a full start to finish development role, so you will carry out land securing through to certain delivery phase responsibilities.

The company are established and successful and put both their internal and external customers at the heart of everything they do.

The development team have achievable growth plans, bringing plenty of opportunity for career success. You will be joining a formed cohesive team; they are welcoming and supportive coupled with having plenty of expertise between them.

As the Development Manager (Housing) the role covers inception through to completion. You will spend time assessing the land that is brought very often to the business, appraising schemes, getting schemes through planning and onto site and then delivered to a high standard. You will advise on layouts and manage the client expectations. You will continue to strengthen strong relationships with Housing Association clients, Local Authorities and other external partners and agencies. You will work in partnership with the delivery teams.

To be considered for this Development Manager (Housing) role: You could be a Development Manager looking to move and be already working as a Development Manager for a housing provider including but not limited to Housing Association, Local Authority, Contractor or consultancy. You need a strong track record of building affordable homes from a new business and delivery perspective. Ideally you will live in the Greater Manchester area.

The client will look at this role as part time or full time role and there is certain flexibility in the package offering.
