This construction company is a fantastic business and one that’s really stable with excellent growth plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Operations Manager to lead and manage the construction team in delivering the build programme in the North West region.

Job purpose: The regional teams will be responsible for the end to end involvement from land acquisition and planning consent with the technical team, development and delivery of new homes/accommodation/apartments/ through to handover to the sales team.

They have an ambitious programme with the view to deliver excellent customer service, deliver more types of accommodation.

Main duties: Covering the Liverpool, Cheshire, Manchester and Lancashire areas, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the construction sites working through Contracts Managers.

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will ensure the safe planning and completion of direct build activities are carried out in line with agreed planning and programmes.

This role will see you promote a high standard of Health and Safety performance and to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements: To be a strong applicant, we are looking for an in-depth experienced Operations Manager, who has managed Construction Teams in a either a general construction or residential setting.

You’ll possess strong technical and commercial knowledge of construction and have the ability to implement Health, Safety and Welfare legislation. You will need to be CIOB (Chartered Institution of Building) qualified, degree in Construction or equivalent.

A CSCS card and SMSTS is also essential.
