Sales & Business Development Executive

Eccles, Manchester

Salary : To be discussed on application + Bonus

Our client manufactures roofing and cladding components to the construction industry including flashings, gutters, fabrications and rain-screen systems. The company is still growing and the role of an additional sales executive is a key appointment. They are looking for an experienced sales executive with existing contacts within the sector to spearhead opportunities to continue the growth of this successful company.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities / clients
  • Working to stringent targets, the jobholder will be required to adopt a professional and business knowledgeable approach to each new call.
  • Maintain existing business relationships, identifying and acting upon new opportunities.
  • Determine margins achieved in the business and thus will be responsible for making the business case, including margin analysis, for any new business.
  • Lead generation and therefore cold calling will be required.
  • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements.
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, & prospective needs.

  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in significantly increasing profitable sales in a business to business environment
  • You will have strong skills in building and maintaining long term professional relationships at all levels
  • Previous experience within the sector

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to cold call potential clients with confidence
  • Develop existing and historical client relationships resulting in repeat opportunities.
