Our client is a leading construction main Contractor specialising in Education, Health, Commercial and Mixed Use Schemes across the North West of the UK covering Cheshire, Manchester and Liverpool.
As a result of planned expansion and multiple project awards we are looking for a Site Manager to join the team. You will have full project lifecycle experience, working as number one on smaller schemes or number two on larger £5m -£20m in value.

Responsibilities as the Number 2 Site Manager include:
• Ensuring company HS&E and quality standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood, implemented and adhered to at all times.
• Organising the site to deliver programme requirements on a daily basis.
• Running a Section of Works or full schemes of lesser value.
• Co-ordinating sub-contractors to ensure efficiency of work.
• Monitor the quality of work carried out ensuring high standards of quality are achieved and addressing any issues with sub-contractors / trades.
• Ensuring all programmes, plans, method statements and risk assessments are up to date, understood and adhered to by all the necessary people.
• Liaising with QS to monitor the financial status of the project, identify solutions to problems and improvements and organise activity to deliver these.

Experience Required:
• Proven successes within a new build contractor (New Build)
• Minimum 10 years Site Management Experience.
• Degree in Construction Management or similar.
• CSCS/SMSTS/First aid.
• Strong Programming skills.
• The ability to co-ordinate sub-contractors.
• Ability to develop and maintain important relationships with all interfaces
• High level of Health & Safety training (CSCS, SMSTS required)
